Nothing is worse...

Nothing is worse, or less funny....than a bunch of second graders attempting to pull off an April Fools joke.   One of my kids told me their dad was killed by a pit bull - April Fools!   One kid tried to trick my teamie and slap her in the face and one kid told me I had a rat on my head every time I turned around.  Hilarious.... right?   OMWord - happy that is over.

Tomorrow starts Texas Testapalooza!  As a second grade teacher,  I am not giving the test,  but testing week still stinks.   No specials, lunch in the classroom,  quiet, quiet, quiet.   Plus the stress in the school is palpable. My poor colleagues are stressed to the max.  My own kids are a mess.   I HATE it.   I wish Rick Perry would call me to ask me my opinion.  But I doubt that is going to happen any time soon.

I am linking with the Amazing and Hilarious Farley to share the April Currently!   April! Summer is in sight...!  http://ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com/2013/03/currently-april.html

  1. Oh goodness! At least they tried! I hope your week goes okay with testing. Ours starts in two weeks for the upper kids.

  2. LOL about feeding time. I could live on cereal and protein bars...my life would be tons easier if my family could :)

  4. Hi there! I'm visiting from the Currently party! Sorry that your kiddos are SO bad with the April Fools jokes... at least they still get into the holiday spirit! If I taught the little ones, I would definitely get an Elf on the Shelf for my classroom. I love that they buy into all that stuff...even if it is annoying!
