Tomorrow starts Texas Testapalooza! As a second grade teacher, I am not giving the test, but testing week still stinks. No specials, lunch in the classroom, quiet, quiet, quiet. Plus the stress in the school is palpable. My poor colleagues are stressed to the max. My own kids are a mess. I HATE it. I wish Rick Perry would call me to ask me my opinion. But I doubt that is going to happen any time soon.
I am linking with the Amazing and Hilarious Farley to share the April Currently! April! Summer is in sight...! http://ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com/2013/03/currently-april.html
Oh goodness! At least they tried! I hope your week goes okay with testing. Ours starts in two weeks for the upper kids.

Buzz Around in Second Grade
LOL about feeding time. I could live on cereal and protein bars...my life would be tons easier if my family could :)

Literacy Without Worksheets
Thinking I am so glad that our Spring Break coincided with April Fools! LOL! I would love a live in housekeeper too!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm visiting from the Currently party! Sorry that your kiddos are SO bad with the April Fools jokes... at least they still get into the holiday spirit! If I taught the little ones, I would definitely get an Elf on the Shelf for my classroom. I love that they buy into all that stuff...even if it is annoying!
ReplyDeleteYou are right - they do still get into everything! I should just enjoy it! Thank you for coming by!

So happy I found another second grade blog to follow! Good luck with state testing. I hope everything goes smoothly. We start ours in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed!
