Like playing Whack-A-Mole!

We get a full week off for Thanksgiving, which is a beautiful, beautiful thing.   So our kids are getting EXCITED.... and the teachers are getting even MORE EXCITED!   It seems amazing to me that we are already HERE in the school year.   Seriously?  It feels like we just got started,  but I am not complaining.  As with any time right before a break,  the kids are wicked hyper and keeping them in their seats is much like a supersized game of whack-a-mole.  You get one settled and another pops up.   So I am trying to come up with ways to keep them up and moving while still working.  I have seen this done several times before by some brilliant teachers so I created this little round of Around the Room Story problems.   It is part of my Thanksgiving packet,  but I wanted to share it with y'all in case you too,  are getting desperate trying to keep the moles...errrr... children in their seats!  Go and get it.  Just click on a picture!
