March Currently!

Look at me... two posts in one night!   I just finished posting and realized the Amazing Farley had put up this month's Currently.  So here we go...

Currently...explained:

My dog is 10 years old.   He is the best dog on the planet.  BUT.... in his old age he has started the most annoying habit ever.  He drinks and drinks and drinks water and then takes a few steps away from the bowl and barfs up half of it.   In the few minutes since I have filled in this form - he has done it.   Freaking awesome!

I am sick.   I have strep throat for the second time in the last month or so.   I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.   This time,  my precious girl also has it,  so we were home all day.   Which means I missed everything I was supposed to be doing at work... like getting ready for Open House on Tuesday.   Totally stressed about that,  so I am super happy that it is the weekend and I don't have to miss another day.     I did have a sweet day with my girlie though...hours of snuggles.

I am taking Nyquil because I can't sleep otherwise... and it is starting to make me loopy,  so I really should stop blogging.

Wanting to feel better and get some uninterupted sleep.   I think these are self explanatory.   I have little one in bed with me the past two nights (just get scared when they are sick) and she has been kicking me,  and talking to me all night.   Tonight she is in her own bed.   Hopefully that means mama is going to SLEEP!

I finally ordered my own Classroom Friendly Pencil Sharpeners and I am so thankful I did.   They are lessening my hate of pencils immensely.   They seem to be everything they promised to be and I could not be happier.   They are so quiet.   If you haven't bought one,   you should!  Love my four babies so much (and their daddy too), and I hate my 5:00 wake up time for school - but I love my job,  so that makes it easier.

Love, Heidi

PS (added after reading other Currently posts)

In my Ny-Quil induced stupor,  I did not read for comprehension - I was supposed to do my like, love, hate portion using the first letter of my first name  - so H (which is also the first letter of my last name...).  So...
Like - hummus (I eat too much of it)
Love - happiness
Hate - head lice

  2. What a bummer that you have been so sick! Strep is no fun and wipes you out for far too long! Hoping you can rest and relax this weekend!! Get better and good luck getting all of your stuff done for Open House on Tuesday! It can be such a pain to be sick and miss out on school things!

  4. I HATE Strept throat!! I hope you feel better soon. I have also been under the weather and am hoping I kick this thing soon. Hummus is the best, I get the huge tub from Costco and eat it with everything:) Rest up and enjoy your weekend.

  5. LOL I do the same exact thing with our cat & our two puppies when they drink/eat. I know too well that they're eating too fast and they're gonna throw up... BUT whatever! They will hopefully learn eventually. I hope that you feel better soon! It stinks being sick. Thank you for coming by my blog - glad to have found you back :)

  9. I need to try out the quieter pencil sharpeners. Every other system I try drives me crazy.

  11. Hi! I'm always looking for second grade blogs to follow and am so happy to have found yours through Farley's Linky!

I totally understand about the whole dog barf thing! I have two Pomeranians (though they're are still puppies) that do this ALL the time. They barely get a step away from the water before they throw it back up!

I'm so sorry you're sick ... but I have to say ... I only recently discovered Nyquil and it's kiiiiiind of amazing!

  13. Aw your dog is so cute! One of my dogs does the same thing with water because he has GERD. We have to give him Pepcid AC everyday! You just gotta love those high maintenance pups! :)

  14. Nyquil is amazing. I was just thinking the other day, "Can you get addicted to Nyquil?" Dayquil is SUPER gross. But Nyquil... it goes down easy and then you SLEEP!!! I had a horrific cough and couldn't sleep for days. Once I started taking Nyquil, I could finally sleep.
    I'm a new follower! YEAH!!!
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
PS- I am really not addicted to Nyquil. lol
