I love your idea of a real vacation...sand, waves, and drinks sound so perfect right about now! I only wish it would be possible lol. Enjoy your last few days with your group...I too have a group I have grown very fond of this year, it's going to be hard to say goodbye...I have a bit longer with them as we are in school until the 24th...but I'm sure it's going to fly by! =) cantmakethisstuffup-hmichaud.blogspot.com
I will confess to having to Google the word "serger" before commenting on your blog. :) I am endlessly impressed by anyone who knows how to sew. I was given a sewing machine a few years ago, but I haven't even taken it out of the box yet because I haven't the slightest clue what to do with it. One of the items on my summer to-do list is to find a class where I can take my machine and learn how to use it, but that hasn't happened yet.
I have very limited sewing skills but my daughter goes to sewing camp in the summer and has way more skill than me and she is only 12. I was actually sewing hooks & eyes on her dance costume tonight and it was taking me forever!!! We have 4 kids playing together too, only 2 are mine and the other 2 go back home in the morning. Happy to have found your blog through the linky!
Love your vacation idea, I have been sitting by some water lately, but it still has ice floating in it! Still need the sunscreen tho! Hope your year wraps up nicely, mine already has, and truthfully, I don't miss the students at ALL! Paula
Found you through Currently! :) Books, friends, and sunscreen make the perfect vacay if you ask me. :)

I am actually going to take some classes at Hobby Lobby this summer. I don't really know how to sew very well, I just really want to....LOL!

You have almost made it- just a few more days! It is hard some years to pass those classes on to the next grade. :)
